Establishing an Internal Communications Plan requires laboratory management to plan for quality and effective communications with their staff.

In this activity, participants will develop an Internal Communications Plan.

  • Effective staff meetings yield a cohesive and informed staff working together toward shared organizational goals.

  • Staff meetings provide an opportunity for communication regarding laboratory operations and face-to-face time to promote team building and shared decision-making capacity.
  • Conducting a meeting requires planning before the meeting, leadership during the meeting, and follow-up after the meeting.

Can you:

  • Identify elements in a communications plan

  • Conduct an effective, productive, successful, staff meeting that is as short as possible?
