Descripción del Curso
El curso de Control Estadístico de Calidad y Validación/Verificación de Métodos (QCMV2) se enfoca en las pruebas cuantitativas, incluidas las pruebas de CD4, con ejemplos de bioquímica y hematología. Este curso proporciona a los participantes el conocimiento y las herramientas esenciales para evaluar y monitorear sus pruebas cuantitativas.
Con grabaciones de conferencias en la plataforma Moodle y seminarios web interactivos en vivo basados en Zoom, los participantes aprenderán a:
- Seleccionar nuevos métodos e instrumentos con especificaciones de rendimiento relacionadas con "el uso previsto" del procedimiento (ISO15189:2022, 7.3)
- Introducir nuevos métodos e instrumentos en los laboratorios evaluando adecuadamente los procedimientos para "el uso previsto" (ISO15189:2022, 7.3.1)
- Diseñar un programa interno de QC robusto para todas las pruebas (ISO15189:2022, 7.3.7.2)
- Evaluar la exactitud continua del laboratorio a través de Esquemas de Evaluación Externa de la Calidad (EQAS) (ISO15189:2022, 7.3.7.3)
Público Objetivo
El público objetivo incluye:
- Directores, gerentes, supervisores de laboratorio u oficiales de QC involucrados en la realización de QC cuantitativo y validación/verificación de métodos.
- Personal de laboratorio senior involucrado en pruebas cuantitativas y validación/verificación de métodos.
- Gerentes de calidad, gerentes de proyectos y mentores que implementan SGC en laboratorios.
- Auditores y evaluadores con formación técnica en patología clínica.
- Quienes realizan capacitación en SGC, incluido el QC estadístico y la validación/verificación, o participan en el currículo de preservicio.
Formato del Curso
Este curso contiene 10 semanas de aprendizaje en línea seguidas de 4 sesiones ECHO impartidas durante 2 semanas. Este curso eLearning utiliza un modelo de “aula invertida” (definición). Los participantes se dedican al autoestudio, aprendiendo de más de 100 videos de conferencias en línea y completando tareas semanales, antes de asistir a sesiones en vivo basadas en Zoom para debate, discusión y preguntas y respuestas. Las sesiones ECHO permiten a los participantes trabajar con los datos de su propio laboratorio y recibir tutoría de los facilitadores.

Criterios para el Certificado del Curso
- Entrega de tareas semanales antes de los plazos
- Asistencia – no más de 3 sesiones en vivo perdidas (es decir, seminarios web, horas de consulta, sesiones ECHO). Si pierde una sesión, debe ver la grabación de la sesión en vivo y presentar evidencia de haberla visto.
- Finalización de las evaluaciones semanales del curso
- Una calificación aprobatoria de 75 puntos en la prueba posterior

I would recommend this course because it provides the laboratory with many statistical tools aligned to ensure the validity of examination results, as specified in the ISO 15189:2022 standard. I found this course very interesting, as it involves continuous learning and practicing exercises on worksheets, job aids, and handouts, aimed at understanding the objectives of the activities, restating the main ideas, and implementing them in the laboratory routine.

The QCMV course is an extraordinary and useful one. In the laboratory, we used to carry out quality controls (internal and external) but we didn't have a lot of knowledge and mastery of certain performance criteria of a test or method. We also maked a limited interpretation of our QC results, method comparison, linearity, accuracy, and precision.
